In the morning, your private guide will pick you up at your hotel at 09:00.
9:30 - 12:00: Tian'anmen Square & Forbidden City
Your local English speaking guide will accompany you to visit Tian'anmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City.
Tiananmen Square is a large city square in the centre of Beijing, China, named after the Tiananmen ("Gate of Heavenly Peace") located to its north, separating it from the Forbidden City. The square contains the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong.
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty-the years 1420 to 1912. It is located in the centre of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. It served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government for almost 500 years.
12:00 - 13:00: Lunch Time
We suggest you have a big breakfast at your hotel and take some snacks. Lunch is not included. However,freely advice is available, you may ask your guide for some advice about the nice restaurants nearby.
14:30 - 16:30: Great Wall
The Badaling Great Wall is about a 1.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing. A cable-car takes you to a good section (avoiding a steep climb) where you can walk along the wall and through the watch towers, enjoying superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains.
The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe.
18:00: Back To Hotel
After the private trip ends, we will drive you back to the hotel.
